Occupational Therapist

University Home Care Inc is seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist to provide exceptional care to clients in Monroe, MI, and the surrounding areas. In this role, you will work closely with patients to help them regain and improve their daily living skills, enhancing their quality of life through personalized therapy plans.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients' functional abilities and develop individualized treatment plans.


• Provide therapeutic interventions to promote independence in daily activities.


• Collaborate with healthcare professionals, patients, and families to ensure optimal care.


• Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress and therapy sessions.


• Stay updated with best practices and continuing education in occupational therapy.

Requirements

• Current Occupational Therapist license in the state of Michigan.


• Strong clinical and communication skills.


• Ability to work independently and travel within Monroe and surrounding areas.


• Compassionate and patient-focused approach.


• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license.
