Occupational Therapist

University Home Care Inc is seeking a compassionate and skilled Occupational Therapist to provide exceptional care to clients in Livonia, MI, and surrounding areas. This role involves delivering personalized therapy services that help patients improve their daily living and working skills to enhance their quality of life.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients’ physical, emotional, and social needs.


• Develop individualized treatment plans to improve patients’ functional abilities.


• Provide therapy sessions in clients’ homes or designated care settings.


• Collaborate with healthcare professionals and family members to support patient goals.


• Document progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.


• Educate clients and caregivers on adaptive equipment and techniques.

Requirements

• Licensed Occupational Therapist in the state of Michigan.


• Strong clinical skills and experience in home health settings preferred.


• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.


• Ability to work independently and manage a schedule of visits.


• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to travel within Livonia and surrounding areas.
