Occupational Therapist

Join our team as an Occupational Therapist serving Sterling Heights and the surrounding areas. In this role, you will provide high-quality occupational therapy services to patients in their homes, helping them regain independence and improve their quality of life. You will work closely with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement personalized treatment plans tailored to individual needs.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients’ physical, psychological, and social needs.


• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to enhance patients’ functional abilities.


• Provide skilled therapy interventions in patients' homes to improve motor skills, cognitive function, and daily living activities.


• Document patient progress and update treatment plans as necessary.


• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care.


• Educate patients and families about therapeutic techniques and health management.

Requirements

• Valid Occupational Therapist license in the state of Michigan.


• Professional experience in home health care or related settings is preferred.


• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.


• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.


• Reliable transportation to travel within Sterling Heights and surrounding areas.


• Current CPR certification or willingness to obtain.
