Adelphi is seeking highly qualified and licensed Occupational Therapy Assistants (OTAs) to support the delivery of school-based occupational therapy services to students across various educational settings in Texas. Working under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist (OT), the OTA will help implement individualized therapy plans, support student progress, and contribute to the achievement of IEP goals.

Requirements:
• Associate’s Degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
• Current licensure as an OTA in the State of Texas.
• Supervision by a licensed Occupational Therapist in accordance with Texas licensure laws.
• Experience working with children in school or pediatric settings preferred.
• Knowledge of IEP implementation, data collection, and therapy documentation.
• Familiarity with fine motor, sensory integration, and adaptive equipment use in school-based environments.
Responsibilities:
• Deliver direct therapy services to students as prescribed in the IEP and under the supervision of a licensed OT.
• Assist in implementing individualized therapy activities and strategies within classroom and therapy environments.
• Collect and record accurate data on student progress and report findings to supervising OT.
• Support the preparation and organization of therapy materials and assistive equipment.
• Collaborate with teachers, paraprofessionals, and families to promote generalization of therapy goals.
• Attend meetings, training sessions, and professional development as required by the supervising OT or district.
• Participate in compliance tasks and contribute to the smooth operation of the therapy team.
• Perform other related duties within the scope of OTA practice as assigned.
