Adelphi is seeking a licensed and experienced Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) Supervisor to oversee and support Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs) delivering school-based therapy services across multiple educational sites in Texas. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in pediatric or school-based therapy, excellent organizational skills, and experience in providing clinical oversight in compliance with federal, state, and district regulations.

Requirements:
• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
• Licensed Occupational Therapist (OTR) in the State of Texas.
• Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
• Prior experience in a school-based or pediatric setting strongly preferred.
• Familiarity with IDEA, IEP process, and school-based documentation standards.
• Demonstrated ability to provide effective oversight and mentorship to COTAs.
Responsibilities:
• Provide clinical supervision and support to Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs) working across multiple school sites.
• Ensure compliance with state licensure requirements and ethical guidelines regarding OTA supervision.
• Review and approve intervention plans, progress notes, and documentation completed by COTAs.
• Conduct regular site visits and observations to monitor quality of therapy services.
• Provide training, mentorship, and ongoing support to COTAs, including onboarding and professional development.
• Communicate and collaborate with district administrators and school staff regarding OTA caseloads and performance.
• Support workload balancing, scheduling, and resolution of service delivery challenges.
• Deliver direct therapy or evaluations as needed to assist with caseload management.
• Ensure that all OT services are provided in alignment with students’ IEPs and best practices.
• Maintain thorough documentation of supervision activities and ensure adherence to applicable timelines and standards.
• Perform additional supervisory and clinical duties as assigned.
