Position Title: Open Gym Supervisor

Location: Montgomery College (Germantown)

Position Summary: The Department of Health Enhancement, Exercise Science and Physical Education has a need for qualified individuals to help supervise our Recreation/ Fitness Program open to our students, faculty and staff. Work hours are Monday through Thursday, 2:30 pm – 5:00 pm.

The Open Gym Supervisors will report to the Department of Health Enhancement, Exercise Science and Physical Education.  This individual will help oversee our fitness programs with the following schedule:

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervising students during designated Open Gym hours


• Enforcing rules and regulations of the Open Gym program


• Complete and maintain accurate records for the program


• Ability to work effectively with faculty, staff and students

Required Qualification:

• CPR/AED certification


• Experience is fitness instruction, group and/ or individual


• Excellent communication and organizational skills


• Fitness Certification from an NCCA accredited organization including:
