Job Title: Operations & Events Coordinator


Reports To: Director of Administration              


Department: Operations - Administration


Effective Date: March 1, 2026


Work Location: Irvine, CA office (3 days per week) + remote work from home (2 days per week)

Job Overview:


Genea’s Operations & Events Coordinator plays a central role in supporting company operations while driving coordination of internal and external events. This position partners closely with the Director of Administration to support executive priorities, company initiatives, and day-to-day office operations.


The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple priorities. This individual demonstrates sound judgment, strong communication skills, and professionalism when working with senior leadership, vendors, partners, and cross-functional teams.



Duties and Responsibilities:



  • Serve as a key operational partner to the Director of Administration, supporting executive priorities, events, office operations, and cross-functional initiatives

  • Assist in calendar management for various members of the Executive Team

  • Coordinate planning and execution of internal events, leadership meetings, team-building activities, and company gatherings

  • Support planning and execution of external conferences, trade shows, and partner events, including logistics, vendor coordination, and shipping

  • Oversee day-to-day office operations, including vendor coordination, supply management, and maintaining an organized Irvine office environment

  • Performs other related duties as assigned


 


Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's Degree or two to four years of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience

  • Welcoming and friendly demeanor to build positive relationships with team

  • Ability to communicate and interact effectively

  • Ability to work in a collaborative team environment

  • Ability to perform multiple tasks and meet deadlines while maintaining accuracy and quality

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Strong attention to detail and desire to excel at assigned work

  • Ability to work onsite at the Irvine, CA office up to three times a week

  • Knowledge of Microsoft office products, Outlook, Word, Excel


 


Estimated Salary Range: $31.25-$36.00 per hour


The salary range listed is our best estimate based on the role's requirements and market conditions. The final offer may be higher or lower depending on the candidate's experience and qualifications.
