Location: Dallas, TX – Candidate needs to be at the client site for 3 days a week.
Job Description:
Analyze client business requirements for master scheduling, material requirements planning, and demand management; conduct workshops, create functional specifications, and document end-to-end MRP processes.
Configure and customize Oracle EBS MRP modules, including integration with Inventory (INV), Bills of Material (BOM), Work in Process (WIP), and Purchasing (PO) to support forecasting, replenishment planning, and exception management.
Lead MRP implementations, and enhancements, including setup of planning parameters, lot sizing rules, and safety stock calculations.
Provide functional support for MRP-related issues, including troubleshooting, performance tuning, and root-cause analysis using tools like SQL queries and EBS diagnostics.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., development, testing, and client stakeholders) to design and test integrations with other EBS modules (e.g., Order Management - OM, Advanced Supply Chain Planning - ASCP) and external systems.
Develop training materials, conduct user training sessions, and support change management to ensure smooth adoption of MRP solutions.
Participate in project lifecycle activities, including CRP (Conference Room Pilot) sessions, UAT (User Acceptance Testing), and go-live support for MRP-driven initiatives.
Stay abreast of Oracle EBS updates, patches, and best practices to recommend optimizations that align with client goals for supply chain efficiency.
Document all configurations, customizations, and processes for knowledge transfer and audit compliance.
Required Qualifications
Minimum 10+ years of progressive experience as an Oracle EBS Functional Consultant, with at least 7 years focused on MRP and SCM modules in R12 implementations/support projects.
Proven expertise in Oracle EBS MRP, including hands-on configuration of master production schedules, MRP planning engines, and exception reports.
Strong knowledge of integrated modules such as INV, BOM, WIP, PO, and ASCP; experience with discrete, process, or repetitive manufacturing environments preferred.
Demonstrated ability to handle full lifecycle projects: from blueprinting and gap-fit analysis to deployment and hyper care.
Excellent communication skills, with experience presenting to C-level stakeholders and leading global teams.
