 Are you a Medical Office or Outpatient Registered nurse excited for a New Opportunity? We are currently seeking Contract/Travel Outpatient Clinic Registered Nurses for our Pinon Health Center located in Pinon, Arizona. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality outpatient care within a family-oriented medical environment. Working closely with our dedicated healthcare team, you will ensure that patients receive optimal care across a range of services, including general medical, pediatric, prenatal, and geriatric care. 

• Long-term travel contract 13 weeks up to 1 year, with extension options
• 8-hour shifts, 40 hours per week
• Family Medical Clinic
• Clinic Hours are Monday - Friday, 8 am  to 6 pm
• Can work on any US Registered Nursing license
• BLS, Required, PALS preferred
• Travel Experience Preferred
• 2+ years of experience as an RN Required
• Family Medical, Clinic, Urgent Care or Outpatient experience as an RN required
• Registered Nurse, RN
• ADN Required or BSN Preferred
• Previous IHS experience Helpful

Duties

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' health status and needs.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient assessments.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Monitor patients for changes in condition and respond appropriately.
• Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding treatment plans and health management.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient care activities in compliance with regulatory standards.
• Perform procedures such as catheterization, medical imaging, and other interventions as needed.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to a safe and effective healthcare environment.

Requirements

Registered Nurse (RN) –

• Minimum of (2) two years experience required as an RN
• RN Nursing experience in an Acute Care Setting required
• Graduated from a National League of Nursing Accredited Nursing Program 
• Bachelor’s degree, Associate degree, or Diploma from an accredited professional nursing education program as an RN is required. 
• Active BLS (Basic Life Support) Required, PALS preferred
• Applicant must have active and unrestricted, current licensure as a Professional Registered Nurse (RN) in any State, District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, or a Territory of the United States 
•  Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Flexibility to work varying shifts and schedules
• Must be a US citizen
• Must be willing to pass a federal background check
