Parts Department Summer Help (Temp)

Description

S.S. Equipment, one of the Northwest’s premier New Holland equipment dealerships, is seeking a part-time Summer Parts Counter Representative for our La Grande, OR location. This person will interface with walk-in customers at the store location to answer questions and sell parts. This is a 4 month assignment with the potential to extend. 

Requirements

Applicants must have a valid driver’s license with no major driving infractions in the last 3 years.

Job Duties Include, But Are Not Limited To:

• Working the front counter, greeting customers
• Answering store phone calls
• Researching parts availability and ordering parts in for customers
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

This is an entry level position however, candidates with any of the qualifications below are strongly encouraged to apply. 

• General Agricultural Equipment Knowledge Preferred
• Prior sales experience preferred
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Computer skills: Microsoft Outlook, ability to learn Web Based Business System

Ability to pass a Pre-Employment Drug Screening
