Payroll Specialist

We are seeking a detail-oriented Temporary Payroll Specialist to manage accurate and timely payroll processing. The ideal candidate will be proficient in manual payroll systems and tools, ensure compliance with policies and regulations, and handle employee payroll inquiries with professionalism.

Responsibilities:

• Process payroll manually using QuickBooks, Excel, and timecard data submitted via email and paper
• Ensure compliance with payroll policies and deadlines
• Handle payroll-related questions and corrections promptly
• Collaborate with HR to maintain accurate employee records
• Support the eventual transition to Paychex over the next 6 months

• Proven payroll experience with manual processing
• Proficiency in QuickBooks and Excel
• Strong attention to detail and confidentiality
• Ability to start immediately and work independently
