People Operations Specialist (5 month contract)

Job Description

Workshop is looking for short-term support on our People Operations team. This individual will work across the People Operations team October 2025 through February 2026, supporting the talent acquisition, HR administration, and office management functions.

In this role, you will:

• Coordinate the entire candidate experience from their application to their first day


• Conduct phone screens for positions across all departments 


• Manage all requisitions and candidates in the ATS (Greenhouse)


• Represent Workshop’s culture and values consistently 


• Run background checks for hired employees


• Administratively support onboarding process for new employees


• Assist with open enrollment processing as needed


• Help with office management and internal event planning as neede

To be successful at this position, you’ll need to:

• Have experience in a recruiting or HR support role


• Maintain a high level of organization and project management skills


• Have excellent phone, writing, and listening skills


• Love meeting new people and building relationships


• Work well across many departments and teams


• Be a self-starter that’s willing to jump in where needed

Bonus points if you:

• Have experience recruiting for a SaaS company


• Have experience using Greenhouse ATS

Compensation and benefits:

• $45 per hour
