Pay Rate: Range $1840 to $1920 Weekly Gross pay (Non\-taxable travel/housing and M&I stipend available for qualified/eligible travelers)

Shifts available: Days
Shift timings: 8 Hours; Days, 8.00 am \- 5.00 pm
Schedule: 40 hours per week guaranteed, 5 shifts per week, Mon\-Fri, No Weekends, No call
Position Requirements:
- Current Physical Therapist Assistant experience: 1+ years \- Required
- LTC or Rehab experience: Highly preferred
- Prior travel experience: Highly preferred
Education, License and Certification Requirements:
- PTA License for State of Missouri or Compact \- Required
- BLS Certification from AHA \- Required
Job Description:
- PTAs implement components of patient care, obtain data related to the treatments provided, and collaborate with the PT to modify care as necessary.
- PTAs assist the physical therapist in the treatment of individuals of all ages, from newborns to people at the end of life.
- Help patients stretch and exercise certain muscle groups
- Read instructions from Physical Therapist
- Work directly with Physical Therapist to assist patients
- Speak with families to find best at\-home techniques
- Keep physical therapy clean and organized
- Move patients from wheelchairs or walkers to physical therapy area
- Teach patients techniques like balance training
