Job Description
Summary A small, community-focused public school in northern New Hampshire is seeking a passionate and versatile early childhood educator to lead a combined PreK/K classroom. This is a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a close-knit educational environment that values whole-child development, creativity, and collaboration. What You’ll Do Lead instruction in a blended PreK and Kindergarten classroom with engaging, developmentally appropriate lessons Foster a nurturing classroom environment that supports social, emotional, and academic growth Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of a wide range of developmental levels Partner with special educators, paraprofessionals, and school staff to support individual student needs Build strong relationships with families and communicate regularly on student progress Create hands-on, inquiry-based learning experiences that integrate play and foundational academic skills Track student growth and adapt teaching strategies based on classroom data Experience You’ll Need Valid NH teaching certification in Early Childhood (birth–grade 3) or Elementary Education (K–8), or eligibility to obtain certification through reciprocity or an approved alternative pathway (Alt 4/5) Experience managing a classroom with varied age ranges and learning needs Knowledge of NH early learning standards and child-centered instructional approaches Strong classroom management and student engagement skills Comfort working in a collaborative, multi-age learning environment
