Job Description - Pricing Coordinator

Description

The Pricing Coordinator is responsible for managing cost and pricing data, ensuring that systems are kept up to date with vendor costs and customer pricing. This role also includes maintaining the accuracy of existing price agreements, updating customer pricing contracts, and managing cost changes. The Pricing Coordinator must possess strong attention to detail and be able to maintain data integrity in an environment with rapidly shifting priorities. 

Essential Functions:

  • Analyze and implement cost and price changes efficiently.
  • Work on various projects to clean up pricing files and data.
  • Enter and maintain customer pricing contracts, including rebates and accruals.
  • Update and maintain pricing databases for products and services, ensuring accurate and competitive pricing.
  • Complete cost and price increases in relevant systems via Microsoft Excel upload or manual entry.
  • Collaborate with sales, marketing, and finance teams to gather pricing information and ensure alignment with business goals.
  • Perform calculations based on cost, margins, and adjustments.
  • Ensure price accuracy in systems while meeting deadlines and target dates.
  • Follow and enforce workflows and business processes.
  • Think strategically and analytically to identify new opportunities.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Associate degree in business or equivalent work experience (2+ years).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with various stakeholders.
  • Strong technical, analytical, and organizational skills.
  • Adaptability and eagerness to learn.
  • Strong attention to detail. 
  • Excellent oral and written communication. 
  • Strong problem-solving abilities. 
  • Knowledge of accruals and vendor rebate contracts.
  • Ability to travel and work evenings or weekends, if required (less than 5% travel).
