Job Description - Primary Care PA

Seeking a Physician Assistant to provide services at a medical facility in Fayetteville, North Carolina. The ideal candidate will possess a full and unrestricted license and is Board Certified/Board Eligible (BC/BE).

Requirements:

• Full and unrestricted License in any State, or US Territory

• BC/BE

• NPI

• BLS/ACLS

• DEA Certificate

• Min 5 years of experience

Responsibilities:

• Manage clinic appointments and follow-up on labs, imaging, and procedures.

• Interpret and respond to consultation calls from hospitalists and intensivists.

• Be available for case discussions with nurse practitioners.

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, health histories, and physical examinations.

• Educate patients within the Primary Care team setting.

• Manage outpatient care for scheduled and unscheduled patients.

• Order and evaluate diagnostic tests, recommend treatments or referrals.

• Document health appraisals, clinical assessments, treatment decisions, and care plans using electronic records.

• Order medications, diagnostic tests, and referrals for optimal patient care.

• Fulfill other duties as outlined by the facility.
