Position Summary
The role of the Project Manager is to process sold jobs from the Sales staff and prepare them to move through the Blasius engine as smoothly as possible. This position will guide all projects through pre-production, production, and installation by gathering and recording every project detail and by setting Customer expectations accordingly.
Generally, the role of the PM is to assure that every job released can pass three tests:
The PM receives ordered jobs from Sales and passes fully prepared jobs to Scheduling/Production. Essentially, this function is the primary feed to the Template Buffer. This function should serve as the “go to” person for Customer communication once the sale is complete, handling any questions or issues from the Customer through Installation.
