Key Responsibilities
- Business Development
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through networking, research, and lead generation
- Build and maintain strong client relationships by understanding and meeting their needs
- Develop expertise in company service lines and competitive advantages
Sales Strategy & Execution
- Develop and implement sales plans to achieve or exceed targets
- Track industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics
- Collaborate with leadership to align strategies with company goals
Client Engagement
- Meet with clients to discuss project requirements and present tailored solutions
- Deliver persuasive presentations and proposals
- Address inquiries and provide detailed product/service information
Proposal & Negotiation
- Prepare proposals outlining scope, pricing, and timelines
- Negotiate terms while ensuring mutually beneficial outcomes
Pipeline Management & Collaboration
- Maintain accurate sales records and forecasts
- Work closely with marketing, operations, and support teams to ensure seamless project delivery
Qualifications
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Business, Marketing, or related technical trade preferred
- HVAC and plumbing estimating experience strongly preferred
- Proven track record in construction project-based sales
- Strong knowledge of sales techniques, lead generation, and full sales cycle
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Organized, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple priorities
