Quality Control Technician

• Follow the weekly production and shipping schedule as directed by the supervisor or team lead
  
• Verify all required documentation is received before beginning work
  
• Review and interpret assembly drawings, Bills of Materials (BOMs), and work instructions
  
• Inspect SMT and through-hole assemblies in accordance with IPC-610 Class II & III standards
  
• Operate and program Automatic Optical Inspection (AOI) and X-ray machines
  
• Conduct first article inspections
  
• Log inspection results and quality data into the company database
  
• Identify and communicate documentation discrepancies
  

Requirements

• ​High school diploma or GED; college coursework preferred
  
• Experience in manufacturing or electronics required
  
• Familiarity with IPC-610 standards
  
• Experience operating and programming AOI and X-ray machines
  
• Ability to read blueprints and use basic measuring tools
  
• Strong attention to detail and communication skills
  
• Ability to identify electronic components and part numbers
  
• Familiarity with ISO 9000 processes and LEAN methodologies
  
• Basic computer skills; proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) preferred
