What You’ll Do:
- Inspect raw materials, first articles, in-process, and finished products
- Use precision measurement tools: calipers, micrometers, tape measures, height gauges, etc.
- Physically check and measure parts to tight tolerances using GD&T principles
- Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and drafting symbols
- Identify and document non-conformances; create NCRs
- Generate and maintain FAI and PPAP reports
- Collaborate with production and report directly to the Quality Director
What You Bring:
- 3+ years of quality inspection experience (manufacturing or fabrication preferred)
- Strong GD&T measurement knowledge — this is essential
- Skilled in manual inspection and use of precision tools
- Ability to work independently and across teams in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent documentation and communication skills
Preferred but Not Required:
- Experience with ISO 9001 environments
- Familiarity with CMM equipment (operation/programming is a plus, not required)
- ASQ Quality Technician Certification
Physical Requirements:
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs
- Comfortable standing, walking, bending, and working in various temperature conditions
