Pay Rate: $3132 weekly Gross pay based on a 36\-hour work week (Includes Non\-taxable travel/housing and M&I stipend available for qualified/eligible travelers)

Shift timings: 12 hours Shifts, Days, 7.00 am \- 7.30 pm
Schedule: 36 hours/week guaranteed, 3 X 12\-hr shifts, Weekend requirements: Only for on\-call, On\-call during the week and very infrequent during weekend
Position Requirements:
- Registered Nurse: 3 years \- Required
- 3+ Years of RN CVOR or similar experience \- Required
- OPEN HEART Experience \- Required
- Recent travel experience \- Highly Preferred
Education, License and Certification Requirements:
- ASN or an equivalent â Required
- BSN or an equivalent â Highly preferred
- RN License for State of MI \- Required
- BLS Certification from AHA \- Required
Job Description:
- Responsible for assessing the needs of each patient before and during a surgical procedure, and maintains patient safety.
- Assesses the needs of the surgical patient and develops a plan of care specific for that patient. Implements and evaluates the plan of care during the procedure, and makes necessary adjustments keeping patient safety a priority.
- Documents care of patient during surgical procedures.
- Supervises activity in the room. Anticipates and coordinates any schedule changes for the room. Assembles equipment and supplies. Assists anesthesia as necessary. Monitors sterile field
- Communicates with patient, family, physician, OR team, supervisor/manager, and ancillary departments.
- Completes all charting and documentation in timely manner for hospital policies.
