Sage Group HealthCare Staffing is seeking Travel RN Home Health for a travel contract position in Alpena, MI.

Position Details:

Position Name: Travel RN Home Health

Contract Length: 13 weeks 

Pay Rate: $2400 weekly Gross Pay based on a 40\-hour work week (Includes Non\-taxable travel/housing and M&I stipend available for qualified/eligible travelers)

Unit: Home Health 

Shifts available: Days

Schedule: 40 hours/week guaranteed, 5 X 8\-hr shifts per week, M\-F, No weekends, No Call, No Holidays 

Position Requirements:

• RN Home Health experience: 1+ years \- Required
  


• Experience with IVs, wound vacs, and central lines \- Highly preferred
  


• Prior Travel experience – Highly preferred
  

Education, License and Certification Requirements:

• RN License for State of MI \- Required
  


• BLS Certifications from AHA  \- Required
  

Job Description:

• Responsible for assessing home health patient needs, nursing care requirement and the delivery of nursing care on all assigned case load
  


• Assesses patient health needs, nursing care requirements, and delivery of nursing care on all assigned case load. 
  


• Directs patient assessments by other nursing staff.
  


• Plans care for assigned case load and directs the planning of care by other nursing staff.
  


• Evaluates effectiveness of plan of care; ensures responsible care is rendered to patients.
  


• Implements nursing actions in accordance with established standards of nursing practice and demonstrates competence in nursing care of the neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric client.
  


• Completes patient documentation in a timely manner.
