Shift timings: 8 Hours; Days, 8.00 am to 5.00 pm
Schedule: 40 hours/week guaranteed, 5 X 8\-hr shifts per week, M\-F, No weekends, No Call, No Holidays
Position Requirements:
- RN Home Health experience: 1+ years \- Required
- Experience with IVs, wound vacs, and central lines \- Highly preferred
- Prior Travel experience â Highly preferred
Education, License and Certification Requirements:
- RN License for State of MI \- Required
- BLS Certifications from AHA \- Required
Job Description:
- Responsible for assessing home health patient needs, nursing care requirement and the delivery of nursing care on all assigned case load
- Assesses patient health needs, nursing care requirements, and delivery of nursing care on all assigned case load.
- Directs patient assessments by other nursing staff.
- Plans care for assigned case load and directs the planning of care by other nursing staff.
- Evaluates effectiveness of plan of care; ensures responsible care is rendered to patients.
- Implements nursing actions in accordance with established standards of nursing practice and demonstrates competence in nursing care of the neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric client.
- Completes patient documentation in a timely manner.
