We are seeking a passionate and dedicated racquets professional to enhance our esteemed teaching staff for the upcoming season. This seasonal role runs from June 19th to September 2nd, with opportunities to pick up additional hours in April, May, and October, weather permitting. This is a unique chance to contribute to our vibrant racquets program, which emphasizes pickleball while also providing strong tennis offerings.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging pickleball and tennis lessons for members of all ages and skill levels.
• Provide exceptional service to ensure a memorable experience for all members.
• Collaborate with the director on racquets programming and support various club events.
• Engage in staff training and meetings to continuously improve skills and knowledge.
• Assist with maintaining court conditions as directed by the director.

Requirements

Independent Contractor status: Instructors will set their own rates, providing flexibility and autonomy.

• A strong background in tennis is preferred, and pickleball experience is highly desirable. Open to candidates with a tennis background who are willing to learn pickleball.
• Preferred certifications for pickleball: PPR, IPTPA, RPO, or RSPA.
• Preferred certifications for tennis: USPTA, PTR, or RSPA.
• Relevant teaching experience will also be considered an asset.
• A commitment to providing excellent service to our members.
• Strong interpersonal skills for effective interaction with members and staff.
• Organized, personable, and able to work collaboratively within a team.
