Job Description - Recruiting Operations Lead (Hybrid-Austin, TX) - Contract


Location: Austin, TX S Congress Ave (Hybrid) 3 days a week in the office - Free Parking
Reports to: Director of Talent Acquisition
Type: Contract with Potential to Perm
Compensation: $40/hour


 


About the Role


Togetherwork is seeking a Recruiting Operations Lead to own and elevate the operational backbone of our Talent Acquisition function. This is a newly created role designed to bring structure, accountability, and system rigor to a fast-growing SaaS organization.


This position will serve as the primary owner of Greenhouse and recruiting workflow governance while also supporting technical sourcing and hard-to-fill searches.


This is not a traditional coordinator role. This role requires systems ownership, process enforcement, and the confidence to partner directly with hiring leaders.


What You Will Own


Greenhouse & Systems Leadership



  • Serve as the primary owner and administrator of Greenhouse

  • Maintain clean, accurate, audit-ready ATS data

  • Configure new requisitions and interview workflows

  • Build and maintain scorecards and stage structures

  • Implement and optimize new Greenhouse features and automation

  • Conduct monthly data audits and system cleanups

  • Build dashboards and reporting views for leadership

  • Ensure compliance with structured hiring practices


Process Governance & Hiring Team Enablement



  • Train hiring managers and recruiters on proper Greenhouse usage

  • Enforce timely feedback submission and complete scorecards

  • Review scorecard quality and alignment with role requirements

  • Join intake/kickoff calls and document structured summaries

  • Partner with recruiters to ensure process discipline across all verticals


Technical Sourcing Support



  • Support sourcing for hard-to-fill and technical roles

  • Utilize LinkedIn Recruiter and Boolean strategies

  • Build targeted pipelines for engineering and specialized roles

  • Partner with recruiters to deepen candidate pipelines


Offer & Onboarding Operations



  • Manage background check initiation and tracking

  • Ensure offer templates and compensation data are accurate

  • Support offer generation and data entry

  • Track and manage employee referral documentation and payouts

  • Partner with HR on onboarding coordination as needed


Coordination Support (As Needed)



  • Support interview scheduling for select roles

  • Ensure candidate logistics are executed seamlessly


What You Bring



  • 3+ years of recruiting, sourcing, or recruiting operations experience

  • Strong Greenhouse experience (configuration and workflow ownership required)

  • Experience in SaaS or technology environments preferred

  • Strong attention to detail and operational discipline

  • Comfort enforcing process standards across stakeholders

  • Ability to operate in a high-rigor, high-velocity environment

  • Strong communication skills and executive presence

  • Comfort working extended hours when business demands require it
