Registered Home Care Nurse

University Home Care Inc is seeking compassionate and dedicated Registered Home Care Nurses to provide exceptional in-home nursing care across Wayne, Oakland, and Macomb counties. This role involves delivering personalized nursing services to patients in the comfort of their homes, ensuring their health and well-being while supporting their independence.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled nursing care to patients in their homes, including assessments, medication administration, wound care, and patient education.


• Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with physicians and healthcare team members.


• Monitor patient progress and communicate changes in condition to healthcare providers and family members.


• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care and interventions.


• Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements to ensure quality care and patient safety.


• Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams to support patient goals and improve health outcomes.

Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Michigan.


• Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience, preferably in home care or community health settings.


• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.


• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.


• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.


• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license to travel within Wayne, Oakland, and Macomb counties.
