Registered Nurse Dialysis in Joliet, IL

Sage Group HealthCare Staffing is seeking Dialysis RN for a travel/contract position in Joliet, IL. Accepting both local and traveler candidates. 

Position Details:

Position: Registered Nurse Dialysis 

Location: Joliet, Illinois

Contract Length: 12+ weeks with possible extensions. Accepting both local and travel Candidates 

Pay Rate: Range $2160 to $2196 weekly Gross pay based on a 40 hour work week (Includes non-taxable travel/housing and M&I stipend available for qualified/eligible travelers)

Unit: Dialysis 

Shifts available: Days

Schedule: 36 hours/week guaranteed, 3 shifts per week, Mon, Wed, Fri of each week, with off on Tue/Thu. No weekends, No Call.

Position Requirements:

• Registered Nurse: 1+ years - Required
  


• Dialysis Nursing experience: Recent/Current 1+ years – Required
  


• Recent/current Geriatric patient population experience - 
  


• NXState Dialysis Machine experience - Required
  


• CNN or CDN Certification - Preferred
  


• Crown Web EMR experience – Highly preferred
  


• Prior Travel Nursing experience – Highly preferred
  

Education, License and Certification Requirements:

• ASN or an equivalent – Required
  


• BSN or an equivalent – Highly preferred
  


• RN License for State of IL  - Required
  


• BLS Certifications from AHA  - Required
  


• CNN or CDN Certification - Preferred
  


• Copy of active/valid driver's license - Required 
  

Job Description:

• Provide nursing care for dialysis patients
  


• Works collaboratively with multidisciplinary team members and dedicated Nephrologists
  


• Collects and records relevant patient health data in the course of/pre/post hemodialysis treatment
  


• Develops and maintains a plan of care that describes interventions to attain expected outcomes
  


• Implements and records interventions to attain expected outcomes in EMR
  


• Performs laboratory collection, processing, and shipping procedures and reschedules missed or inadequate laboratory collections
  


• Maintains a positive and respectful attitude to all patients and colleagues
  


• Medication administration and documentation
