Registered Nurse LTC in Rose City, MI with $2052 Weekly Gross

Sage Group HealthCare Staffing is seeking an RN LTC for a travel/contract position in Rose City, MI. Accepting both local and traveler candidates.

Pay Rate: Range $2016 to $2053 weekly Gross pay based on a 36-hour work week (Includes non-taxable travel/housing and M&I stipend available for qualified/eligible travelers)

Unit: LTC 

Shift available: Days

Schedule: 36 hours/week guaranteed, 3 shifts per week, M-F, with weekends as needed. Holiday rotation if needed 

• 2+ Years Experience in LTC/SNF and/or Med Surg setting (no hospital/medical center Med Surg experience is needed, Med Surg experience in a LTC setting will be considered
  


• Travel experience (Minimum of 1 successful contract assignment) – Required
  


• Covid vaccination or exemptions
  

Education, License, and Certification Requirements:

• RN License for the State of MI - Required
  


• BLS Certifications from AHA or ARC  - Required
  

Job Description:

• Administers prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with approved nursing techniques and facility policies and procedures.
  


• Prepares equipment and aids physician during treatments and examinations of residents.
  


• Observes residents, records significant conditions and reactions, and notifies supervisor, physician and family of resident’s condition and reaction to drugs, treatments, and significant incidents.
  


• Takes temperature, pulse, blood pressure, and other vital signs to detect deviations from normal and assess condition of resident.
  


• Observes nursing care and visits residents to ensure that nursing care is carried out as directed, and treatment administered in accordance with Physician's instructions.
  


• Responsible to document admissions, discharges, transfers and incident reports per facility policies and procedures.
  


• Participate in the care plan process, completes nursing assessments and resident care plans accurately and timely on assigned residents.
  


• Maintain resident confidentiality; treat residents with kindness, dignity and respect; know and comply with all Resident's Rights rules; and promptly report all resident accidents and injuries to charge nurse.
  


• Must have regular attendance.
