Registered Nurse Med Surg in Lawton, OK with $2232 Weekly Gross

Sage Group HealthCare Staffing is seeking Med Surg RNs for multiple travel/contract positions in Lawton, OK. We are accepting both local and traveler candidates.

Position Details:

Position Name: Travel Registered Nurse - Med Surg 

Location: Lawton, Oklahoma

Employment Type: Full-time, Travel, Contract, Temporary

Contract Length: 13 weeks

Pay Rate: Range $1980 to $2232 weekly Gross Pay based on a 36-hour work week (Includes Non-taxable travel/housing and M&I stipend available for qualified/eligible travelers)

Unit: Med Surg 

Shifts available: Nights

Schedule: 36 hours/week guaranteed, 3 shifts per week, weekends as needed (EOW), No call. 

• Registered Nurse: 1 year - Required
  


• Med Surg Nursing experience: Recent/Current, 1 year – Required
  


• Travel experience - Highly preferred 
  

Education, License and Certification Requirements

• ASN or an equivalent – Required
  


• BSN or an equivalent – Highly preferred
  


• RN License for State of OK or Compact - Required
  


• AHA BLS Certifications  - Required
  


• NIHSS - Required (Can be obtained upon offer)
  

Job Description:

• Provides all aspects of professional nursing care in assigned units (Med Surg)
  


• Preparing, administering and recording prescribed medications.
  


• Changing dressings, inserting catheters, and starting IVs.
  


• Adjusting specialized medical equipment as needed, as well as interpreting and recording measurements.
  


• Monitoring patients' vitals and reporting adverse reactions to medications in a timely manner.
