Sage Group HealthCare Staffing is seeking Psychiatric Registered Nurses for a travel/contract position in West Allis, WI. Accepting both local and traveler candidates. 

Position Details:

Pay Rate: Range $2340 to $2376 weekly Gross pay based on a 36 hour work week (Includes non-taxable travel/housing and M&I stipend available for qualified/eligible travelers)

Unit: Psychiatric (Adolescent and Adult units)

Shifts available: Nights

Schedule: 36 hours / Week, 12 hours shifts, any 3 days of the week including weekends and holiday rotation, No call 

• 2+ years of Recent/Current Inpatient Acute Psychiatric Nursing experience - Required 
  


• Comfortable and willing to work with adult and adolescent patient population
  


• Float to Adult and Adolescent units - Required 
  

Education, License and Certification Requirements:

• ASN or an equivalent – Required
  


• BSN or an equivalent – Highly preferred
  


• RN License for WI or Compact - Required
  


• CPI Certification - Preferred
  


• BLS Certification from AHA  - Required
  

Job Description:

• Provide comprehensive psychiatric nursing care to patients in assigned psychiatric units.
  


• Provide care for and float between inpatient adult and adolescent units 
  


• Provide and coordinate care by assessing patients’ physical and behavioral health needs.
  


• Develop and implement nursing care plans.
  


• Responsible for assessment, diagnosis, planning and establishing outcomes, implementation, and evaluation.
  


• Accurately and promptly implements physicians’ orders.
  


• Prepares, administers, and records medications in accordance with the policy regarding the administration of medications.
  


• Records information concisely, accurately and completely.
  


• Participates in multidisciplinary treatment planning and revises plan of care based on assessment.
