Job Description - Registered Nurse (RN)

Adelphi is seeking Registered Nurses (RN) to provide services at a correctional facility in Anthony, Texas. The ideal candidates will provide nursing care to inmates at the facility while ensuring compliance with legal, ethical, and institutional standards.

Requirements:

• Valid and unrestricted RN license in any State or U.S territory

Responsibilities:

• Conduct nursing assessments and daily sick call.

• Administer medications, vaccines, and treatments.

• Respond to medical emergencies.

• Assist providers during clinical procedures.

• Perform triage and identify urgent conditions.

• Document all encounters in the electronic medical record.

• Follow infection control policies and security procedures.

• Provide direct patient care services in accordance with legal, ethical, and institutional standards.

• Perform nursing duties within the scope of the current licensure.
