Our client, a world leader in semiconductors, is looking for a "Reliability Engineer" based out of Milpitas, CA.

Job Summary:
In this role, you will actively partner with design teams to identify risks early, influence design improvements, and ensure robust product reliability.
Key Responsibilities:
• Create, edit, and validate Reliability Block Models using ReliaSoft tools (Weibull++, BlockSim, XfRACAS).
• Develop and execute reliability test plans based on failure physics and scientific test design principles.
• Lead and facilitate FMEA activities and reliability modeling efforts.
• Evaluate materials, components, and manufacturing techniques from a reliability perspective.
• Design accelerated life tests and develop new acceleration methodologies.
• Analyze reliability data and provide statistically sound recommendations.
• Drive root cause discussions and recommend design or process improvements.
• Partner closely with mechanical, electrical, and systems engineering teams across 3–4 programs.
• Present findings to cross -functional stakeholders and leadership as needed.
Qualifications/Skills:
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Physics, Material Science or related engineering field.
• 5+ years of hands -on reliability engineering experience.
• Strong knowledge of:
o Reliability best practices
o Failure physics & materials science
o Accelerated testing methods
o FMEA and reliability block modeling
• Experience using ReliaSoft (Weibull++, BlockSim, XfRACAS) or similar reliability tools.
Preferred Skills:
• Experience with semiconductor capital equipment or E -beam systems would be a plus.
