Mission of the Position: 


The Academic Relations Coordinator will report to Joe Gotto, Director of Academics. The mission of this role is to ensure the accurate collection, organization, and maintenance of collegiate faculty data, supporting the company’s academic operations with precision and confidentiality. This position involves entering and verifying faculty information into internal systems and spreadsheets, resolving inconsistencies, and maintaining records in sortable, accessible formats. It requires meticulous attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and proficiency in MS Office and Google Suite to ensure data integrity and operational efficiency. 



Key Responsibilities:



  • Data Input: Accurately inputting collegiate faculty information, including but not limited to name, email address, institution affiliation, professional title, and academic area & interest, into company systems or departmental spreadsheets.

  • Verification: Reviewing and maintaining data for errors or discrepancies and resolving inconsistencies on a year-to-year basis.

  • Documentation: Organizing spreadsheets into specific, sortable categories.

  • Administrative Support: Supporting other academic staff with general duties.

  • Confidentiality: Maintaining strict confidentiality of sensitive collegiate faculty and company information.



Required Skills and Qualifications:



  • Software Proficiency: Experience with MS Office (Excel, Word, etc) and Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, etc.).  

  • Attention to Detail: Exceptional focus to ensure data accuracy.

  • Organization: Ability to manage, organize, and retrieve data efficiently.



Role Expectations:



  • Project Length: Up to 6 months.

  • Please note that the expected hours for the role during the training period (1st month) are up to 20 hours per week. 

  • After the training period, hours may range from 20 to 40 per week, depending on the project requirements for the week.
