Position Summary:

We are seeking a Florida-licensed APRN to join our growing After-Hours Telemedicine Team. This position is ideal for a proactive, patient-focused nurse practitioner with experience in adult primary care. The APRN will provide virtual care during evening and weekend hours to patients needing non-emergency medical support after clinic hours.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide telehealth assessments, diagnosis, and treatment for adult and senior patients.
• Manage chronic and acute conditions via virtual visits using evidence-based protocols.
• Document patient encounters accurately and thoroughly in the EMR system.
• Coordinate care with in-clinic providers as needed for follow-up or escalated care.
• Educate patients on disease prevention, wellness, medications, and care plans.
• Triage and refer patients to urgent or emergency care when appropriate.
• Ensure HIPAA-compliant practices in all virtual interactions.

Schedule:

• Evenings and weekends (flexible schedule within the after-hours coverage window)
• Part-time, with potential to expand based on patient volume and provider availability.

Qualifications:

• Active Florida APRN license required.
• Must be based out of the Winter Haven, Florida area
• Certification in Adult or Family Practice (ANCC or AANP) a plus
• Minimum 2 years of experience in adult primary care or internal medicine.
• Prior telemedicine or virtual care experience preferred.
• Proficient in using EMR systems and telehealth platforms.
• Excellent communication, critical thinking, and independent decision-making skills.
• Must have reliable internet connection and private, HIPAA-compliant remote workspace.
