The Texas Department of Criminal Justice requires the services of a Business Analyst Expert with CAPPS and PeopleSoft Financials experience, who meets the general qualifications of a Business Analyst 3. This functional expert will be part of a dedicated PeopleSoft Financials upgrade project team.
Responsibilities:
The core duties include analyzing and modifying CAPPS data, creating financial reports as requested by the business, and utilizing PeopleSoft Query Manager. They also include bridging the communication gap between the CAPPS team and the technical team.
Must demonstrate and excel in communicating and working with a diverse team, with the ability to utilize collaboration tools competently in a remote work environment. Must be able to work non-standard hours at different phases of the project.
Extensive experience as a Business Analyst on PeopleSoft Financials and Supply Chain Management (FSCM) implementation or upgrade projects.
Liaison between functional and technical teams.
Facilitate working sessions and deliver structured functional analysis presentations to diverse audiences.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio (minimum of four tools).
This remote position may occasionally require the contractor to work on-site. The office is 815 11th St, Huntsville, TX 77340. In-person meetings may be required in Huntsville, TX, and advance notice will be given. Travel expenses are not covered or reimbursed by the Agency.
This position may be required to work non-standard hours depending on project needs.
All work must be performed with TDCJ hardware only. A laptop and any required peripherals will be provided.
Must be able to pass a CJIS background check.
