Contract Tax Software Trainer (Freelance/Ad Hoc - Open to US-based Candidates)

We are seeking a Contract Tax Software Trainer with expertise in CCH Axcess Tax or similar cloud-based tax software to deliver engaging and efficient virtual training on tax software solutions for our client, a leading provider of tax, accounting, and audit software for professionals. This is an ad hoc contract position, ideal for a freelancer or someone looking for part-time, flexible hours.

Location: Remote (Open to US-based Candidates Only)
Duration: Ad Hoc, Varies by Season

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver web-based training sessions focused on CCH Axcess Tax or comparable cloud-based tax software to clients, including accounting firms, tax departments, and government agencies.

• Provide clear, concise, and engaging training with minimal preparation, leveraging your existing expertise in tax software solutions.

• Assist with software demonstrations, content creation, and consulting services as needed.

• Manage your own schedule by selecting available training slots, depending on seasonal demand.

Qualifications:

• Expert in Tax Software: In-depth, hands-on experience with CCH Axcess Tax or similar leading tax software solutions, including preparation, review, and tax law.

• Passion for Teaching: A genuine interest in learning and teaching, with the ability to deliver training sessions without extensive onboarding or training.

• Proven Training Experience: Previous experience teaching or coaching professionals, preferably in a virtual setting, with an ability to explain complex software in a simple and relatable way.

• Education: Bachelor’s degree required (Accounting degree preferred); CPA or CPA candidate is a plus.

• Self-Starter & Goal-Oriented: Ability to effectively manage time and prioritize tasks in a freelance environment.

• Excellent Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication abilities, with an enthusiastic and engaging approach to teaching.
