Gas Settlements Analyst - Fixed Term Contract

Our client, a software company delivering innovative cleantech solutions to leading energy and water suppliers, is looking for a Gas Settlements Analyst to join their growing team. In this role, you’ll leverage your industry knowledge and the company’s advanced software tools to investigate and resolve discrepancies on behalf of clients. Your primary focus will be identifying variances between energy purchased and sold, while ensuring the correct industry workflows are followed to recover any overpayments. Key responsibilities:

• Identification and correction of data errors in the Utilities industry
• Liaise with industry participants and project managers to reach a queries resolution
• Drive operational performance and identify areas of improvement for clients
• Actively promote continuous improvement in team processes and practises
• Abide to the Compliance Policies and Procedures whilst delivering impactful results
• Form strong, collaborative relationships across the business
• Provide support to the leadership team by proactively setting an example on team calls 
• You are required to carry out any other duties as reasonably requested by your direct line leader

Skills and experience required: 

• Gas settlements experience within a supplier (B2B or B2C) or utilities company
• Experience using or implementing Junifer, Evolve, Velocity, or similar enterprise CIS/CRM systems
• Passionate about delivering market leading customer service
• A natural people person who thrives on helping teams succeed and reach their goals
• A forward-thinking mindset with a strong passion for data
• Combine experience and intuition to solve complex problems
