Interim FP&A Budgeting Lead

Interim FP&A Budgeting Specialist to support their finance team during a critical budgeting cycle.

Location: Fully Remote
Duration: 3-6 months (with potential extension)
Day Rate: Competitive, DOE (Outside IR35)

The Role

You'll play a pivotal role in leading the annual budgeting process, working closely with senior stakeholders to deliver robust financial plans and insightful analysis. This is a hands-on role requiring both strategic thinking and operational execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end budgeting process across all departments
• Develop and refine financial models to support planning and forecasting
• Partner with department heads to challenge assumptions and ensure alignment
• Provide variance analysis and scenario planning to inform decision-making
• Support the CFO and Group Controller and wider finance team with ad hoc analysis and reporting

About You

• Proven experience in FP&A roles, ideally within mid-sized businesses
• Strong budgeting and forecasting expertise
• Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills
• Confident communicator with the ability to influence at all levels
• Available at short notice and comfortable working remotely
