MobilizeGreen is helping you build the skills to start your environmental career. TheNonprofit Capacity and Career Readinessis a six-week, interactive online program designed for motivated students and recent graduates who want to explore careers in a mission-driven workplace. The program helps you find your first role, sharpen leadership skills, and align your values with your career. You’ll learn how nonprofits drive environmental protection, build communities, and influence policy, while also gaining crucial job application tools and communication skills.

What You Will Learn:
Explore a step-by-step journey through green sector fundamentals, professional development, and real-world nonprofit skills with each module designed to move your career forward.
Week 1: Nonprofit Application Toolkit: Identify the key technical and soft skills for nonprofit applications, including resume/cover letter, networking, and the job search
Week 2: Nonprofit Leadership: how to be an effective leader in mission-driven spaces for impact.
Week 3: Community Engagement: understand how nonprofits work within- and alongside-the communities they serve
Week 4: Grant-Writing and Fundraising 101: Learn the basics of nonprofit revenue strategy and messaging.
Week 5: Communications and Organizational Messaging: create clear, compelling narratives for mission impact.
Week 6: Capstone Presentations: Present a real-world project tailored to your career goals-and walk away with a portfolio piece.
