Seasonal GameDay Morning Segment Producer

Summary 

The NFL Media group is seeking a versatile and dynamic seasonal segment producer to work on NFL GameDay Morning. The ideal candidate is creative, organized, detailed, very knowledgeable about the NFL and must be comfortable working on tight deadlines. 

Essential Functions 

• Overseeing the edit schedule throughout the season.   

• Working with show producers to collaborate on ideas for the show.  


• This role is responsible for working with editors to produce tapes, as well as overseeing the content being created for the shows by the APs and PAs. 

Required Education and Experience 

• Must have strong written and verbal communication skills. 

• Must have a passion for sports, and extensive knowledge of the NFL, associated events and storylines. 


• Must have experience working with editors to produce content on tight timelines. 

Preferred Education and Experience 

• 5 years’ experience working in sports TV production. 


• College degree in Communications, Journalism or related field. 

Other Key Attributes / Characteristics 

• Time management skills. Ability to execute and prioritize projects and work on tight deadlines. 


• High level of attention to detail. 

Supervisory Responsibility 

• Must be comfortable supervising editors in an edit bay. 

Terms / Expected Hours of Work  

• Must be available to work early and late shifts and also must be available on weekends from September through mid-February. 

• Seasonal – maximum 7-month employment period, 40+ hours/week
