We’re on the hunt for a Senior Oil & Gas Landman who knows their way around Held-By-Production (HBP) title like a pro. If you can untangle complex chains of title, understand production language without blinking, and communicate clearly with both clients and teammates — you might be exactly who we need.

What You’ll Be Doing

  Dig deep into HBP title research across Texas and New Mexico.

  
  


• 
  

  Analyze leases, assignments, conveyances, probates, and production language.

  
  


• 
  

  Determine lease validity and production-held acreage.

  
  


• 
  

  Prepare clean, accurate run sheets and title reports clients can trust.

  
  


• 
  

  Spot title issues early and help drive smart solutions.

  
  


• 
  

  Partner with Project Managers, clients, and fellow land professionals to keep projects moving.

  
  


• 
  

  Keep communication clear, proactive, and professional — because strong teams run on good communication.

  
  

What Makes You a Great Fit

• 
  

  7+ years of oil & gas land experience with heavy HBP title exposure.

  
  


• 
  

  Strong working knowledge of Texas and/or New Mexico title practices.

  
  


• 
  

  Detail-oriented but efficient — you know how to balance quality and deadlines.

  
  


• 
  

  Self-starter mindset (you look for solutions, not just problems).

  
  


• 
  

  Comfortable working remotely while staying connected with the team.

  
  

Bonus Points If You Have:

  AAPL certification (CPL/RPL)

  
  


• 
  

  Experience mentoring junior landmen

  
  


• 
  

  GIS or digital title platform experience
