Specialized Academic Coaching Director

BrainStorm’s Specialized Academic Coaching (SAC) program provides best-in-class support services to students with specific learning needs (& their families). This includes advocacy, skills training, executive function coaching, high-level academic mentoring, and more. The SAC Director will oversee the SAC program specifically by promoting the program so that it grows, training staff in best practices, and working to retain and delight client families. The SAC Director establishes, develops, and maintains relationships with current clients and prospective clients to generate new business for the organization’s services. The SAC Director is responsible for setting the tone for the program, overseeing the logistics, schedules, hiring, marketing and overall coordination of the SAC program. He or she will manage communication with parents and within the broader community, and is expected to produce virtual content for the purposes mentioned above. The SAC Director works closely with the CEO to ensure the program is running effectively and reaching its desired goals. The SAC Director will also participate in private tutoring of SAC students.

Essential Functions:

● Manage the SAC program

● Supervise SAC Tutors

● Spearhead marketing for the SAC program

● Maintain relationships with current and potential clients

● Identify strong academic mentors with applicable credentials for the SAC program

● Manage executive function training and development

● Communicate with families about their child’s progress and experience at the program

● Organize events and logistics offered for the program

● Be knowledgeable and promote BrainStorm services and current offerings

● Network on behalf of BrainStorm

● Develop relationships with such referral sources as local guidance offices, PTOs, and local colleges/community schools

● Seek out events to establish our presence & broaden brand awareness in the community

● Help increase revenue for BrainStorm

● Contribute to hitting monthly, quarterly or yearly sales goals for the SAC program

● Tutor for SAC

● Train BrainStorm teammates in best practices

● Create virtual content (videos, module-based learning, webinars, & the like)
