The Temporary Assessor Reviewer is responsible for virtual assessments of vulnerable populations for various clients. Persons being assessed reside in the community or in facilities. Assessor Reviewers also may complete review decisions regarding services needed to be successful in the community.
This temporary role would be a approximately a 13 week assignment working approximately 40 hours a week. This role will pay between $20.00 - $23.00 an hour.
Essential Functions
- Performs virtual assessments of persons with disabilities.
- Some contracts may require collaborating with healthcare providers and ancillary service providers to create or validate the appropriate treatment plan.
- Documents assessment results for the individual member status or negotiates service plan as needed.
- Provides ongoing education.
- May communicate with all health care providers to ensure appropriateness of care.
Requirements
- Two or four-year degree in the social services field ( Social Work, Psychology), or related field with 0-1 year experience.
- In lieu of degree, four years of experience in working with persons with intellectual, developmental, and/or physical disabilities.
- Case management experience preferred.
- Must be able to work from home.
- Experience completing level-of-care assessments preferred.
- Experience in human services preferred
- Experience working with individuals who have disabilities is strongly desired.
$20 - $23 an hour
