Job Description - Trade Specialist

Booth Management Consulting LLC (BMC) is a diverse CPA firm that provides accounting, auditing, and management consulting services to public and private clients nationwide. We seek a qualified, motivated, and progressive individual to join our team as a Trade Specialist.


 


Position Summary


The Trade Specialist shall demonstrate a thorough understanding of the issues, programs, initiatives, and policies that impact U.S. supply chain resilience and will be incorporated into the supply chain resilience framework. The Trade Specialist should understand the methodologies and approaches for data-driven supply chain research.


 


Key Responsibilities



  • Be able to interpret or develop clear visualizations of data modeling as part of the supply chain risk assessment process.

  • Participate in, or support principals’ participation in, oral briefings on the supply chain risk assessment framework.

  • Collaborate with industry stakeholders during outreach efforts to socialize the framework.

  • Prepare a variety of standard written materials and deliver formal briefings for internal and external stakeholders.

  • Assist with the planning and coordination of activities of the Supply Chain Center, as needed.

  • Work independently and collaboratively to perform research, analysis, and associated functions that address the mission of the Supply Chain Center and are critical to the government agency and interagency priorities and objectives.


 


Experience & Qualifications



  • BS/BA degree in International Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field.

  • Approximately 4 years of related experience.

  • A strong foundation in global trade practices, compliance regulations, and market analysis is essential in a supply chain environment.

  • Proficient in MS Office Suite and database software.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
