Research Associate I - Analytical Development

Our
client, a world leader in biotechnology and life sciences, is looking for
a "Research Associate I” based out of South San Francisco,
CA.

Job Duration: Long Term Contract (Possibility Of
Extension)

Pay Rate : $27.50/hr on W2 DOE

Join the Analytical Operations team to support early -stage
biopharmaceutical development through analytical characterization of product
quality, purity, and stability. This role utilizes analytical tools to
characterize the physical and chemical properties of biopharmaceutical
products. 

Key Responsibilities

• Perform
  routine and non -routine analytical testing using physiochemical techniques
  such as U/HPLC, icIEF, CE -SDS, and LC -MS.
  
• Accurately
  document experimental procedures and results in an Electronic Laboratory
  Notebook (ELN) following ALCOA+ data integrity principles.
  
• Support
  laboratory operations including reagent management, consumable stocking,
  waste handling, and equipment upkeep.
  
• Ensure
  compliance with laboratory safety standards and internal quality
  procedures.
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s
  degree with 3+ years of relevant experience, or Master’s degree in
  Chemistry, Biochemistry, or a related field.
  
• Hands -on
  experience with HPLC/UPLC, CE, or LC -MS.
  
• Strong
  organizational, documentation, and communication skills.
  
• Experience
  with ELN systems, Microsoft Excel, and knowledge of GMP practices
  preferred.
