Retail Sales Associate- Coastal Orange Beach

Job Summary:
The Retail Sales Associate plays a very important role. This position is essential to greet and engage with all guests,
as you are a very important impression of the business. Below are the fundamental areas that each Retail Sales
Associate must perform on a daily basis to ensure positive retail operations.
● Inform customers about sales, promotions, and upcoming events
● Build guest relationships through excellent customer service and honest recommendations
● Effectively process transactions through Gift Shop POS system
● Stock and merchandise sales floor as directed
● Process incoming merchandise as directed
● Assist in maintaining organization and cleanliness of back stock room and the sales floor
● Enthusiasm to work during peak business hours including weekends and holidays
● Help guests navigate the Coastal property when needed
● Other related duties as directed by management

Essential Qualifications and Experience:

● Must have solid communication and interpersonal skills
● Ability to read, write, and effectively communicate with guests, peers, and management
● Ability to multitask while being attentive to guests and remaining flexible to the needs of the
business
● Ability to work as part of a team and take initiative independent of direct supervision
● Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
● Ability to process cash and credit card transactions
● Enthusiastic, friendly, and energetic attitude with a genuine desire to provide
outstanding service
● Must be able to adapt in an open air concept to seasonal weather
conditions
● Previous retail experience or similar experience on the sales floor a
plus
● Constant moving, talking, hearing, reaching, grabbing, and standing for at least two
consecutive hours and occasional stooping, kneeling, crouching, and climbing ladders
● Ability to lift 50+ pounds

The pay for this position is $15 per hour.
