University Home Care Inc is seeking a compassionate and skilled Homecare Registered Nurse to provide high-quality nursing care to patients in Sterling Heights, MI and surrounding areas. This role involves delivering personalized home health services to ensure the comfort, health, and safety of our patients in their own homes.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive nursing assessments and develop individualized care plans.


• Administer medications, treatments, and procedures as prescribed by physicians.


• Monitor patient health and progress, documenting all care and observations accurately.


• Educate patients and their families about health conditions, treatments, and self-care techniques.


• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.


• Ensure compliance with company policies, healthcare regulations, and safety standards.


• Travel to patient homes in Sterling Heights and the surrounding communities to provide timely visits.

Requirements

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Michigan.


• Minimum of 1 year clinical nursing experience, preferably in home health or community care.


• Strong assessment, communication, and interpersonal skills.


• Ability to work independently and manage a flexible schedule.


• Reliable transportation to travel to patient homes within Sterling Heights and nearby areas.


• CPR certification and other relevant clinical certifications preferred.
