Job Description - RN - Long Term Care/Skilled Nursing

Shift Schedule: 7a -7p

Shift Type: Days

Rate: $1,804/36 -hours

Requirements:

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.

Minimum 1–2 years of Long Term Care or Skilled Nursing experience preferred.

Strong clinical, organizational, and leadership skills.

BLS certification required.

Ability to manage multiple residents and priorities effectively.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with geriatric and chronic care populations.

Knowledge of MDS documentation and care planning processes.

Responsibilities:

Assess resident health status and monitor changes in condition.

Administer medications, treatments, and IV therapy as ordered.

Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans.

Coordinate care with physicians, therapists, and interdisciplinary teams.

Supervise and delegate tasks to LPNs and CNAs as appropriate.

Document nursing care accurately and in a timely manner.

Educate residents and families on care plans and health management.

Ensure compliance with safety, infection control, and regulatory standards
