Job Description - RN - Medical Surgical/Telemetry (Nights)


Summary:

  • Ref #: A -RN -65210

  • Profession: Registered Nurse

  • Job Type: Contract/Travel

  • Start Date: 03/10/2026

  • Location: Lima, OH

  • Shift Schedule: 12 hrs per day; 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM

  • Weekend Requirements: Every Other Weekend

  • Shift Type: Nights

  • Rate: $2,002/36 -hours




Requirements:

  • 2+ Years of Experience

  • Attendance:must be committed to reporting for all assigned shifts and be on time.

  • Must be competent with Cardiac medications (Cardizem, Amiodarone, Nitro, Heparin, Cardine, Dobutamine, Lasix, Bumex,) and have knowledge of titration and application of these medications.

  • Must be competent in telemetry and possess knowledge of heart rhythms.

  • Must possess critical thinking skills, be able to recognize change in patient status and intervene

  • Must possess knowledge of signs/symptoms of stroke, recognize change in patient status and intervene.

  • Must have strong communication skills.

  • Active American Heart Association BLS

  • Active American Heart Association ACLS

  • Active NIHSS Certification

  • Nursys must show Active Ohio/OH or Compact RN License

  • Ohio license

  • ACLS (AHA)
