Roadway Expert Witness

Job Description:
We seek an experienced Highway/Roadway Expert Witness consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate
will have a strong background in highway and roadway design, construction, and safety, with a proven
ability to provide expert analysis and testimony in legal cases. This role is perfect for someone

Key Responsibilities:
• Provide expert analysis on highway and roadway -related cases, including accidents, design
defects, and safety standards.
• Prepare detailed expert reports and written opinions based on thorough research and
investigation.
• Serve as an expert witness during depositions and trials, effectively conveying complex technical
information to non -experts.
• Collaborate with legal teams to strategize on case presentations and expert testimony.
• Stay updated on industry standards, regulations, and emerging trends in roadway engineering
and safety.
• Conduct site visits and assessments as needed to gather evidence and provide context for cases.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Transportation Engineering, or a related field (Master's
degree preferred).
• Extensive experience in highway and roadway design, construction, and safety analysis.
• Proven track record of serving as an expert witness in legal proceedings.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to simplify complex
concepts for diverse audiences.
• Professional engineering license (PE) preferred.
