QUALITY CONSULTING GROUP, a leader in the pharmaceutical, biotech, medical devices, and manufacturing industry, is looking for a talented, highly motivated and enthusiastic to join our team. In this role, you’ll work with a highly enthusiastic team, contributing in a world-class manufacturing industry in Puerto Rico & USA.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and maintain safety policies and procedures in alignment with OSHA standards and Puerto Rico labor laws. 
• Conduct routine safety audits, site inspections, and risk assessments to identify and mitigate potential hazards. 
• Lead safety training programs and maintain accurate records of employee certifications and participation. 
• Respond to safety incidents, investigate causes, and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence. 
•  Support emergency response plans and participate in emergency drills and procedures.
• Act as a liaison with regulatory agencies during inspections or audits.

Qualifications: 

• 3–5 years as a Safety Officer, preferably in the petroleum, energy, or industrial sectors.
• OSHA 30-Hour General Industry Certification (required).
• Familiarity with OSHA, Puerto Rico labor laws, and federal compliance regulations. 
• Strong understanding of health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to develop and deliver effective training materials and presentations.
• Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
